Diwali Collection....

Luxury brand Louis Vuitton celebrated Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights , with elegant displays of traditional Hindu motifs in its global network of stores. He has drawn Inspiration from Indian culture to come up with a collection which is a amalgamation of Rich Indian elegance & western design sensibilities. The collection stands out as really chic, sexy and high on appeal and provides the much needed change in the look ,apart from all that we’ve seen past times.

Marc Jacobs has designed ready to wear Indian inspired saree dresses , in rich Indian fabrics which have been sourced from New Delhi,Mumbai,Bangalore, Madras and other cities of India. He has used the vintage sari material and created delicate and spectacular fusion of Indian silhouettes with  the western top up. They have all been made in the Louis Vuitton ready to wear workshop in Paris.

A new “Louis Vuitton fabric”, designed by the Louis Vuitton studio with a mix of Monogram flowers and Indian traditional motifs, has been specially woven by Indian craftsmen. These fabrics, which come in two colors in cotton and in silk, were transformed by Louis Vuitton into three existing Louis Vuitton ready-to-wear pieces and a scarf in pink, sea green coloured silk and radiant ivory cotton. These pieces were available for purchase worldwide in a network of Louis Vuitton stores.
